ABI2020 advises attendees not to book accommodation for the Roosevelt Hotel through a third party as the ability to cancel the reservation will be lost and no refunds will be given. Additionally, the third party sellers add fees that are not shared with the customer until the payment has been processed and a final receipt sent.

The Roosevelt Hotel has extremely limited availability, please click here to book.

ABI2020 will take place at the iconic Roosevelt Hotel in downtown New Orleans. Originally built in 1893 and now a part of the Waldorf Astoria collection, the Roosevelt is consistently ranked as one of New Orleans leading hotels.

New Orleans is often called ”The Big Easy” due to its laid-back attitude and the easy-going nature of the musicians and other bohemian residents of the city.   New Orleans is known for its jazz music, cultural attractions, diverse communities, and of course, its world-famous Cajun cuisine.  In New Orleans, the good times are perpetually rolling down Bourbon Street with nightlife that never stops.

But there is much more to see than just the historic French Quarter — tour the elegant Garden District, meet the colorful characters of Frenchmen Street or ride a steamboat on the mighty Mississippi. You can experience the city’s supernatural vibe at the Voodoo Museum by taking a guided ghost or vampire tour through taverns, alleyways, and historic cemeteries. This practice is called room poaching. Room poaching poses numerous problems for you and ABI2020:
  • Room poachers often do not deliver on promises to customers. When participants arrive, the reservations are non-existent or the hotels booked are located far from the conference.
  • Often the rooms have been canceled with hefty cancellation charges placed on the guest’s credit card.
  • When attendees book outside the reserved ABI2020 room block, ABI2020 could be held financially liable to the hotels under contract, creating a negative perception of the conference and decreasing our negotiation power for future events.
